Who We Are

Petry Academy is our family’s dedicated homeschool, built on a foundation of curiosity, character, and intentional learning. We provide a full-time academic program for our two children, designed to meet both state requirements and our family’s educational values.

Our lead instructor holds a state teaching license in elementary education with additional certification in English as a Second Language (ESL), bringing professional training and classroom experience to our home-based setting. Our principal brings graduate-level training in pastoral care and spiritual development, shaping our school environment with a thoughtful, holistic approach to learning and character formation.

Our school year generally follows a traditional calendar, with flexibility for real-world learning, seasonal enrichment, and family travel. Instruction takes place daily and covers a full range of subjects, including language arts, math, science, history, Bible, and the arts.

We utilize a combination of structured curriculum, independent study, and experiential learning to create an academically rich and developmentally appropriate environment for each child.
